Day 11 of Color and Design

YAY 2 more days to Erin's birthday! After which, 2 more days to the end of Winter Intersession! After which, 2 more days to real school! After which, 2 more days to Janice's birthday! After which, 1 more day to Awan's birthday! After which, 2 more days to Stacia's birthday! after which, 3 more days to Adeline's birthday!

OH FUCK my social calendar is really full right now! I am a social butterfly man. An artsy one at that. Let me go put the dates down in my moleskine diary. Kidding lah. Kidding lah. And I am going to be so broke this month.

I forgot I had a blog until.. Until just now and I see people have started spamming me. Actually only Vewry spamming me lah ok I not so popz pplez cum hEre and sPam miExz.. Worx. How do you use that expression "worz"?

Okay I still have homework to get to so when I have time (never), I am going to come back here and post pictures and whatnot..

Day 2 of Color and Design

Nothing very much to report. Except that I spent US$550 on my Color and Design starter kit. Fucking gouache costs so much. I want to import poster paint from Singapore. Those that you can buy from Coronation meant for Nanyang Primary kids. Those ones that cost 1.90 SGD per bottle. Those that don't have Series A-Z. Those that are synthetic and cost all the same.

Fucking school costs so much. Opportunity costs run high.

Opportunity cost : The next best alternative forgone when a choice is made. TBS (Tan Boey Sey not Taking Back Sunday) & Miss Soong Y.Y must be proud of me. 

I realised I haven't posted an entry about New York yet. New Yawk was cold and cold, and I think cold? -10 degrees when I arrived and only became warmer when I left? On the bright side, I met Xinxin and her boyfriend (finally!) and that was most likely the highlight of my trip. We ate yogurt ice cream with mochi topping and we had to make her sister my beloved LOAF jealous. I think X sent Q a picture of our ice cream. Serves Q and Val right for giving me that Christmas gift. Present or chore? HAHAHAH but i liked it.. Down to the giftwrap. Loved it friends.

I wish I had more things to say! More meaningful things I could talk about, because I am always inspired by people who write well, like my lover/pal Ong.

So let me just complain about Winter Intersession and my class in general. The class is called Color and Design and basically we learn everything about the usage of color in designing (doh). We are making 100-200 swatches everyday.. And today I was supposed to come up with abstract design pieces. To the abstract artists I always mock and belittle, I apologize! I realize it is probably harder not to see things in the art they create. IT IS SO FRUSTRATING. Anyway I am going off on a tangent. This class is apparently the hardest class we will ever have to take. AND... it is supposed to be a 6-month class but I am taking it in 15 days. You like? I like. I am already dispirited on the 2nd day. What a shame. One week's worth of homework due everyday. What the fuck did I get myself into? :(
