Everything before the word 'but' is irrelevant

Inka and I had an adventure today. Well, not really. We went to Haight St and we shopped for CDs and a lot of other irrelevant shit. Case in point: Ben and Jerry's.

SO anyway call me chink or lianz or whatever but I found faye wong's album that my sister used to play when I was like, 6 or 7. And then she lost the album and I looked so hard for it it was kind of the anthem of my youth you know? I mean my childhood. A lady with a beautiful voice singing words of wisdom (I presume - I didn't and still don't understand Cantonese). Across the world, here, in Amoeba store on Haight district full of the peripatetic lot (here I am again trying to be politically correct). In the discount bin! $3.99!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is true. What you like, you'll find again.

And we saw Be Kind Rewind and Gondry has surpassed himself again! Well, no, I think Eternal Sunshine is still better. But the film left me profoundly touched and I started believing in human goodness again! For about 10 minutes or so. But me! Of all skeptics, me! I teared a little. The movie was dumbed down by Jack Black but it is not necessarily a bad thing. As far as my humble opinion goes, you guys have to see it.

I don't have much to say today. Except that I am going to master how to sing FW's Cantonese album despite the translation problems. I should be able to pick it up fairly quick. After all my dad's as loud as any self-respecting Cantonese should be, and I love mango pudding and mango sago (and they're desserts from Hong Kong)..
